VMWARE FORUM 2014

On May 22, 2014 representatives of the «ICL Services» company Ruslan Husnulin, Ivan Shastin, Nikolay Shergin attended the event VmWare Forum 2014 that brought together more than 1,000 IT professionals. The main purpose of the conducted forum was to get acquainted with the latest trends in virtualization, cloud computing and mobile access, as well as the possibilities of business transformation.

This event was a unique opportunity for dialogue with experts who will talk about new industry trends and ways to smooth migration to Data Processing Centers. vForum participants could visit reports within sessions most interesting to them: automation of Data Processing Centers, cloud management, VDI technologies and cloud data storages. Each workshop was devoted to VMware products and solutions and how to realize their benefits in practice. Special attention of the forum was attracted to a seminar on network virtualization platform VMware NSX, which has become one of the most visited. VMware partners also shared their experiences. Among them there were representatives of «Kaspersky Lab», Fujitsu, NetApp.

Speakers of the forum provided the participants with effective strategies for the implementation of virtualization technologies, cloud infrastructure, and development of mobile workspace. During the workshops we focused on the practical issues of IT infrastructure management, virtualization of business applications, deployment of virtualization platforms, cloud data storages and improvement the efficiency of end-users.
