ICL Group’s project on creation of a single accounting automated system for FESCO Group of companies won in the “Best Regional Project” category at the fifth international contest of the best control and accounting automation projects “1C: Project of the Year”, 2020-2021.
More than 250 projects were submitted for the contest, and only 198 were admitted to participation. The contest was aimed at finding users and partners who are the most successful in digitalization and promotion of reference projects on implementation of 1C: Enterprise-based solutions.
For the contest, experts from ICL Group submitted a project comprising a single complex information solution for bookkeeping and tax accounting integrated with production systems and electronic archive, based on 1C: Holding Management 3.0. The project was implemented for organizations of FESCO Group, to which service is delivered by FESCO Service Center LLC.
As a result of project implementation, 320 workstations were automated in respect of centralization of such functions as Bookkeeping and Tax Accounting, Reservation of Limits to Order, Contracts and Contractors, Procurement, Data for IFRS and Budgeting, and IT Support; and about 1,000 workstations were automated in respect of purchasing and procurement management processes. The processes of all subsidiaries began to work according to a single methodology; transparency and data availability were ensured. Cost saving on functions transferred to the Shared Service Center amounted to 80%, efficiency of internal control increased by 84%, data transparency and availability increased by 79%.
Thus, FESCO Group got the whole automation loop integrated with the operated production systems, treasury and electronic archive.
