ICL Group’s project on creation of a single accounting automated system for FESCO Group was presented at the fifth international contest of the best control and accounting automation projects “1C: Project of the Year”.
The contest is aimed at finding users and partners who are the most successful in digitalization and promotion of reference projects on implementation of 1C: Enterprise-based solutions. Participation in the contest also gives a good chance to present one’s practical experience to the IT community of Russia and neighbouring CIS countries.
Within the project submitted for the competition, experts from ICL Group created a solution based on 1C: Holding Management 3.0. That is a single complex information solution for bookkeeping and tax accounting integrated with production systems and electronic archive for organizations of FESCO Group, to which service is delivered by FESCO Service Center LLC.
The project started in April 2019, and already in October and November 2019 pilot and field testing was held in Shared Service Center for the enterprises in the first line. It comprised 21 enterprises, the ones providing intermodal transport and transportation services. Along with that, beginning from July 2019, project engineering was held for the second line consisting of four enterprises (railway division, sea shipping). Also, concurrent work arrangement of centrally-controlled procurement processes and implementation of inventory management processes started. Therefore, for maintenance of its main activity, FESCO got the whole automation loop integrated with the operated systems of the Parent Company.
You can support the ICL and FESCO project by casting your vote in an open Internet voting available to 1C users and partners after registration on the website of the contest. The results of the international contest will be summarized and published on 15 September 2021.
