ICL — KME CS was included in the list of 14 companies — potential issuers of shares and bonds in the Market of Innovations and Investments (iIM) — selected according to the joint strategy of Moscow Exchange and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. This was announced at the end of April 2018. The National Research University Higher School of Economics and an expert group consisting of members of the Expert Council of Moscow Exchange’s iIM, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and external reviewers selected the applicant companies from January to April 2018. ICL — KME CS took part and presented the potential of the company at the first workshop held by Moscow Exchange as part of the implementation of the program in Moscow on May 22, 2018.
“It is an important step for us to transform from a large but fairly closed company with a limited number of shareholders to a public company that trades on the securities market.”
Victor Diachkov, General Director, ICL — KME CS, comments: “It is an important step for us to transform from a large but fairly closed company with a limited number of shareholders to a public company that trades on the securities market. The idea was ripe for entering the public market by our company several years ago, but there was no clarity in understanding the mechanism for implementing this plan. Cooperation with Moscow Exchange as part of the strategy to enter the iIM has become a timely and understandable tool for making that idea spring to life. The assessment of experts gave us confidence that we are moving in the right direction.”
