ICL Services, an IT service vendor, was shortlisted for the Best Service Desk Award, which is given to IT service and support teams serving large enterprises by Service Desk Institute (SDI), an influential international company guiding and inspiring service desks and global service desk community.
The judges looked for excellence, professionalism, innovation and outstanding achievements of the companies working in IT service and support industry. Special attention was given to teamwork of service desk professionals.
“It’s not the first time we take part in the contest held by SDI but never before have we managed to make it to the top,” said Lenar Rakhmatullin, Head of IT Infrastructure Services at ICL Services. &ldaquo;This year we took a quantum leap. We implemented digital technologies in service desk operations, expanded our team and won very large customers. Apparently, the combination of these factors made it possible for us to achieve such high results and to be shortlisted for the award. On November 16, we will present our project in England and of course we hope to win.”
Winner of the 24th annual IT Service & Support Award will be announced at SDI19, a conference for service desk leaders, to be held in Birmingham on March 25-27. Large Russian companies are also expected to attend SDI19 among many others.
