ICL System Technologies to Open an ICS Information Security Competence Center in Innopolis
ICL System Technologies will work in cybersecurity as a new area of development. It is reported, that the Company will open its own ICS Information Security Competence Center on the premises of Innopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The Center will provide comprehensive services in the field of information security of Industrial Control Systems (ICS Information Security).
The ICS Information Security Competence Center will have the following key functions: approbation and testing of purpose-built solutions for ICS, raising engineers’ competence level in design, implementation and use of information security tools for ICS, analysis of security threats and finding ways to neutralize them.
The ICS Information Security Competence Center is going to open this May.
Some Center’s solutions will be presented at ITSF 2016 Conference on May 26–27.
“The ICS Information Security Competence Center will be engaged in all types of ICS Information Security issues using solutions developed by Russia’s and world’s leading manufactures,” says Aidar Guzairov, General Director of ICL System Technologies. “In the Center, we will not only test purpose-built products but, if required, we will also assess the feasibility of using them in a customer’s system taking into consideration compatibility with the existing equipment. Thanks to having this pilot zone, the customer’s experts can see how an equipment would act in realistic conditions and thus choose the most efficient solution.”
