Property and Other Assets Management System

Participation in two R&D projects for Gazprom OJSC. Availability of in-house tools for rapid application development and data integration.

Tasks

  1. Automation of asset management business processes and standardization of asset management data within the whole company to ensure transparency and to enable property and other assets management as well as data aggregation/matching capability within Gazprom Group.

Solution

The implemented system included the following subsystems:

  • The Unified Register of Titles to Property subsystem enables management of titles to property owned by Gazprom OJSC and its subsidiaries;
  • The Long-Term Investment Management and Analysis subsystem enables management of asset holding structures of Gazprom OJSC and its subsidiaries, ROI analysis for long-term financial investments;
  • The Non-Core Asset Data Management and Analysis subsystem enables monitoring of non-core and inefficient asset sales;
  • The Consolidated Register of Assets Owned by Companies Incorporated in Gazprom OJSC subsystem provides users with prompt summarized (for all asset classes) information on the current status of assets owned by Gazprom and its subsidiaries thus ensuring information support for Gazprom assets management.

Result

Property and Other Assets Management System has been in operation for 10 years. Corporate Information Systems, a business unit of ICL — KME CS, successfully completed system migration to SAP platform. Functional modules of the system were included in replicated prototypes of subsidiary IMS.

Review

Headquartered in Kazan, ICL — KME CS OJSC, a member company of Fujitsu Group, one of the leading IT companies in Russia, was selected by Gazprom to implement the property and other assets management system. Gazprom Group and ICL — KME CS have built productive relationship over the years of successful cooperation.
