Artificial Intelligence for Early Detection of Equipment Breakdowns

The Board of the Ministry of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan held its end-of-year session in A.S. Popov Technopark (Innopolis) on February 5.

Deputy Prime Minister of RF Maxim Akimov and RT President Rustam Minnikhanov got familiar with an innovative solution that makes it possible to predict and identify the failure of equipment during its operation. The solution passed tests at large enterprises of Tatarstan.

“Predicative Analytics solution enables early detection of unstable operation of sophisticated technological equipment and notifying service personnel of possible breakdowns. As a result, the cost of repairing production equipment can be reduced by 10% and significantly reduce the risk of production downtime”, Aidar Guzairov, General Director, ICL System Technologies commented on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in production.

“This is important for hazardous production, MES, railway ... wherever there is equipment resource management, predictability is mission-critical”, Maxim Akimov, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia said.

The session of the Board of the Ministry of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of RF Maxim Akimov, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, former Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Nikolay Nikiforov and others.

The Board of the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan holds its sessions annually; the extended session held on February 5 was devoted to the progress made by IT and communications industry of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2018 and the goals and objectives for 2019.
